Comments: | I suspect the "artificial nose" meaning is just a direct translation of the japanese. An actual cosmetic replacement is 付け鼻 and an "electronic nose" that detects odours and flavours is 電子鼻. Even japanese pages that use "artificial nose" appear to be describing an HME. Compare http://breathok.com/artificial-nose with the source of the product https://www.medtronic.com/covidien/en-us/products/mechanical-ventilation/filters/dar-filters.html I couldn't find a source for the reading. |
