	Comments:	Very interesting discussion on that page. I suspect it's becoming more widely used, although こんど/つぎ are more common in Kanto. I think I'll drop the "dial" in favour of a note.

	Comments:	I was amazed to not see this word included, as it’s ubiquitous on trains in my experience (in Kyoto), and I’d learned it in げんき, a beginner book. Interestingly, it is not in any dictionaries I looked at. Turns out it’s Kansai dialect – the authors of げんき are at 関西外国語大学 in 大阪 – hence they (unintentionally?) included some 関西弁. Long explanation is firstly because “next to depart” is ambiguous (“immediately next”? “the following one”?) and indeed, the word is a bit confusing in Japanese for the same reason! Secondly, this is very useful and confusing point for foreigners in Japan (important class of users) – which train to get on? why is this train waiting? etc. Coordinate terms are 先発 and 次々発, which are not as confusing and don’t need nearly as much explanation.
