Yes, as I said, I don't think it's actually used in Kansai,
even though the dictionaries have it. I've heard a young
Osakan (in her late 20's) make fun of her Miyazaki obaachan
for using the expression. The hits on Google, outside of the
dictionaries, all point to it being a Kyushu thing (though
people from other parts of western Japan also say they use
it on chiebukuro etc.) |

I think it's worth having, but did you really mean 九州便? |

It is a standard western Japanese negation but you basically
never hear people say "好かない" for "嫌い" in standard
Japanese to start off with, so in that sense it's obviously
unusual.

I wasn't sure whether to add it or not but as it was in two
regional dictionaries (plus a bunch more that I noticed now
on weblio), it seemed like maybe it was idiomatic enough.
You won't find 食わん, 食べん etc. in the same dictionaries. |

isn't this just standard kansai negation?
like わからない->わからへん->わからん, すかない->すかへん->すかん
does it need an entry? (we could also add 食べん, 寝ん, and most other verbs) and should it be glossed with 'to'?

I don't think it's actually used in Osaka (at least not among
young people), I've heard an Osakaite make fun of her
grandmother from Miyazaki for saying "好かん" |
