yes, either we should abandon it entirely or figure out some way of automating the process.  i suppose [n-pr] does sometimes add clarity to an entry, but overall my guess is that it is almost always obvious from the english gloss whether it is a proper or common noun.  probably not needed since it was introduced late in the game, without ever broadly applying it

(if we're deleting PoS, maybe we can finally change all the [n-t] entries to [n].  that tag has been applied quite inconsistently as well)

Didn't we decide to avoid n-pr? Almost all of our proper noun entries are n. Changing them all to n-pr would be a near-impossible task.
