Comments: | In that case it's probably an abbreviation of another sense of の. I wouldn't want to extend this entry for it. |

Comments: | The ん can also be followed by か (I get 6000 googits for "逃げるんかよ" for example) but this might be colloquial/not hyojungo. In ksb (and possibly other western dialects) it can even be used without anything following it, e.g. 逃げるん? https://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.jp/qa/question_detail/q11143987361 Q: "〜するん?〜へ行くん?〜やるん?などは方言ですか" A: "バリバリ関西系の方言です。 「の→ん」になっていますね。" |

"Nigerundayo", said by Joseph Joestar. I know that 逃げる means to escape or get away. And I know that だよ is shorthand for ですよ. But I'm having trouble with the ん in the middle. Where does that come from?" |

Comments: | This entry should probably cover the ん mentioned above? I.e. "indicates emotional emphasis" xref→の |
