Marcus, thanks for letting me know. Jim, are you sure heifer is an appropriate gloss? Heifers are specifically cows that have not had calves yet. |

typo. It's better if you use the same
abbreviations the rest of us do, e.g. nikk
or nikkoku in this case (see the
"references" section in the editorial

Nicolas, just a FYI, there's no dictionary called Daijiten. It might just have been a typo but I've seen you make it more than once.
The dictionary you actually linked wasn't Daijisen either but Nihon Kokugo Daijiten (or nikk for short).
Is "mother cow" ok? Would "maternal cow" be better? |
