It seems the yarn itself is 引き揃え糸 whereas 引き揃え is the technique of using 引き揃え糸 in yarn crafts. The references specify 2+ strands of yarn, and while "double stranded knitting" and "knitting with yarn held double" are real terms, "multi stranded knitting" isn't really used. Googling "multi stranded knitting" returns results for simply stranded knitting, which is a separate technique altogether. |
