This is a major rewrite based on the 1.5 page entry in Makino & Tsutsui's "Dictionary of Intermediate Japanese Grammar". They make a good point about the mandatory negative predicate. See the 8 Tanaka examples (not yet indexed so search for sentences with に限って).
