No, a street car isn't a トロッコ列車. You're probably right that it's too confusing, even with the clarification in the first gloss. I was
thinking "tramway train" might work but it also just brings up photos of street cars on google images, so perhaps not. Tramway is in there
in the clarification anyway so maybe that's enough? |

It seems that in various parts of the world, what the term "tourist tram" brings to mind is a streetcar. (e.g. Melbourne and Potsdam) I don't think they can be called トロッコ列車, can they? |
