I suppose there's no reason why 届け済み can't also mean "delivered" but I don't see any examples of it being used in that way.
I do see some examples of お届け済み with the "notified" meaning so at the very least that sense should be added to the お届け済み entry. |

Yes, I saw Daijirin's explanation, and wondered about putting "something that has been
reported", etc. I'm uncomfortable with past tenses as a noun gloss.

The submitter was correct in translating it as "delivered". It's お届け (from 届ける - deliver) + 済み (completed).
I think we should have a separate entry for お届け済み, whereas this should be translated as "notified; reported; registered". |
