Please be more specific than "various dictionaries on the Yahoo site". I think they are identified.
  Comments:
This change brings it more into line with the Daijirin/GG5 entries. I take the point about rolling sense 3 into sense 1. I guess it works.

Including (and leading) with just "house" is wrong.

Looking at the various dictionaries on the Yahoo site, none has "house-like building" as a separate sense. I think it's definitely part of
sense 1 and I don't think "house" absolutely has to be a dwelling either ("house of prayer", "movie house", "the local fish house", "a
house of prostitution" - all examples from English dictionary entries for "house") but either way it's definitely not a separate sense.

According to some of the sources I found, "isolated house" really means
that the house is in a place where there aren't any other houses at all
– not simply separated by a few metres from the neighbours like your
house, Jim :-)
.
For example, Meikyo says:
1) あたりに家がない所に、一つだけぽつんと建っている家。「野中の一軒家」
2) ...

  Comments:
長屋 is not really an antonym.
I think "building resembling a house, ...." is really another sense.
Splitting off "isolated house" into its own sense seems odd to me, but then I live in an environment where all most houses are detached/isolated.
