Comments: | I don't think this needs to be an entry. As the first gg5 example shows, it's not always preceded by a noun. On its own it means "to be on the brink of a crisis". I'd parse the second example as "絶滅の危機" + "に瀕している". The glosses we have for 瀕する are almost identical to the ones here so no one should struggle with the meaning. |
