Also I think this might qualify as "slang" rather than "col"? My understanding of the difference between the two is that "slang"
denotes a word not widely known outside of a specific group/demographic, or only widely known as a word used by a specific
group/demographic, while "col" denotes words more widely known but that might not fit formal texts, etc. |
