I think it's worth having because it's a
title. (I saw it in an article on Ghosn).
If the 代表取締役... version is more common
then maybe this isn't necesary, I don't
know. Looking at the ngrams, it's less
than half the hits, but not by much. |

Do we need this? It's a standard use of 兼 and most of the Google hits I'm seeing are for "代表取締役社長兼最高経営責任者". |
