Refs: | mentioned as -山 in 世界の観光地名がわかる事典 Can't find these kanji in any recent news article (though there's plenty about the earthquake, of course). Can't find any info on reading. Guessed "めいるん" and did get one, two hits for that http://mer3053chen.blog124.fc2.com/blog-entry-386.html http://web.thu.edu.tw/mike/www/class/Hanabi/hanabinews/h anabi-news.bak Can't find any real evidence in English/Chinese what this place is called either. I get a limited amount of hits for "Meilun fault" but nothing else. |

Comments: | Please provide more sources/reading. As it stands, I think this is too obscure to record. If it were actually appearing in the news or in any Japanese texts, chasing down the reading might be worth doing, but I don't think that's the case. |

Comments: | I have been to the mountain myself, and the name of the fault is now in the news because of the February 2018 earthquake in eastern Taiwan. |
