The original almost certainly came from Halpern, but with the glosses reversed. It was in his group for 獲 where the compounds use the "catch game, fish, hunt" sense.
Following the lead from 収穫 I think it's something like I've suggested. |

I was confused by the glosses for this entry so I tried to look up the definition but it's not in any of the dictionaries. (Except Eijiro which redirects to 収穫).
The only references I can find are two 知恵袋 answers (which explain that 収獲 is for animals and 収穫 is for plants).
Looking at Google hits, 収獲 appears to be a 変換ミス for 収穫 in 99% of cases but searching 収獲+魚 returns some relevant results.
I'm not sure this is a real word but if we're going to keep it, these are my suggestions for glosses. |
