I can't find this word in any 国語 dictionary but it typically appears in front of other nouns (with 溶存酸素 accounting for nearly half of all occurrences).
As a する verb, it's used in much the same way as 溶解.
The prenominal usage is so much more common that I think it's worth having separate senses. |
