yes, we shouldn't be referring to lunar/lunisolar months using the roman names.  this appears to be both (though primarily the lunar calendar)

I'd like to canvass opinions on this one. All my JE refs have "April", sometimes in addition to "fourth month of the lunar calendar", so the proposed amendment is not out of court. But to me "April" is the name of a month in the Western, Roman-derived calendar; not the name of a month in the Chinese-derived calendar. I notice neither Daijirin nor Koujien gloss it as 四月.
I feel we should not be calling the lunar calendar months by Western names. What do others think?
