Comments: | Worth including. Is there a reason the (more common) kanji forms were omitted? |

Comments: | I see this expression very frequently and I don't think it's self-evident that "いまさらながら" can sometimes mean the same thing as just "いまさら". After all, "いつもながら" and "しかしながら" have their own entries though "しかしながら" definitely means the same thing as just ""しかし". There are numerous ways that this expression can be translated into English and I still think that we should add back "needless to say" as a possible translation per http://ejje.weblio.jp. |

Comments: | -also means "all over again", "anew", etc. as does いまさら itself -if the meaning is no more idiomatic than いまさら+ながら, i'm not sure we need this entry |
