Comments: | I don't think this is [sens] at all. Is it not just that "meshi" is not the most polite word for rice, so for women, it's not the preferred form? like how many think that women should ideally say おなか rather than はら, etc. (see chiebukuro link) |

Comments: | swapping readings. only nikkoku has the latter two. restrictions required. i'm not convinced these should be merged, given the restrictions. i'd suggest 冷飯:れいはん;ひえめし[ok];つめためし[ok] should be its own entry - why strange? it's like 食う. women tend not to use the めし as much as men do |
