i really don't think that note adds to the entry and i also think that it's wrong. 'vitrum' means 'glass', so it makes perfect sense that 'vitrification' would be translated as ガラス化法 |

From the articles it seems the term 急速凍結法 is also used in the same meaning. Other terms are ガラス化保存法、ガラス化凍結法、ガラス化冷凍法、ガラス化凍結保存法、ガラス化冷凍保存法.
Suggest adding an entry for ガラス化 and 急速凍結法.
急速凍結法 is very different from 急速冷凍法 as the latter it is seemingly can be used only for the ultra fast freezing method used in the food industry while the first references to both methods (vitrification + ultra fast freezing in food industry). |
