Refs: | Very important expression used in letters. http://matome.naver.jp/odai/2135999857240322001 Also found in one of the examples in the Goo Dictionary: 「時節柄ご自愛ください。」 http://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/srch/all/自愛/m0u/ There are more than 330,000 hits on the google search engine: https://www.google.it/search?q=ご自愛ください |

Comments: | I know there is already an entry of 自愛, but this exp. is so fixed I feel it should have its own entry. Some ex. I got from real letters, written by Japanese native speakers: 「季節の変わり目ですから、ご自愛ください」 The season is changing (and it's easier to get ill), so please take care of yourself. 「くれぐれもご無理などなさらないよう、ご自愛ください」 Please be careful not to overdo too much. |
