Even though the original exp. is 感謝感激雨霰 (mostly written 感謝感激雨あられ), Japanese people like to abbreviate and it is quite common to hear
「感謝感激です。」
or even more humorously
「感謝感激でございます。」
「感謝感激でございまする。」
where the Keigo here is used only in contrast with the normal 崩れた話し方 (informal speech style) to sound even more absurd. |
