i think 'charmingly' reverses the intent.  if i 'look charmingly' at someone, then it is me who is doing the charming, not the person i am looking at.  definitely hard to gloss for all possible translations.

The trouble  is that 惚れ惚れ doesn't mean "charming", etc. That's ほれぼれするような or just ほれぼれする... We need to have the gloss match the POS is possible. "charmingly?".
