| Comments: | The rationale behind the sense splitting is not apparent to me from the English glosses, though it perhaps might be with some further elaboration. However, I suggest basically splitting into "show" vs. "indicate" as in New Century WaEi: [1][v5s,vt] to show;to display;to demonstrate;to express (an emotion, opinion, etc.);to give (an example) [2][v5s,vt] to point out;to indicate; to read (e.g. clock) |
