Comments: | Although there is no English given for 粥状 in the Wikipedia article, it is obvious from the context that the 粥状 made from rolled oats is the kind of food known as gruel and has nothing to do with "arthero-"... i suspect the medicinal term is derived from the sticky consistency of the food particles in gruel (although i am not sure how 粥 and 粥状 differ) |
