Is a change needed? We already have an entry for "傅 [めのと] /(n) (arch) instructor/tutor (to a prince)/". It can't be merged with this one (fails 2/3 rule.)
If you look closely at the 大辞泉 entry, it has restrictions on the two senses that force it to be two entries by our rules. |

daijs gives "傅" as an additional kanji for めのと, but for めの
と alone, which means the other 8 readings would have to come
with restrictions. Maybe too messy? Maybe either split out めの
と, or remove a couple of the probably archaic and a little
superfluous readings? |
