Not sure how much usage it gets as a 形容動詞. "出っ歯な女" gets
only 80 hits, vs 13.6k for "出っ歯の女" (b). "出っ歯な人" gets
8,550 vs 8,240 for "出っ歯の人" though. |

Adding "bucktooth". 出っ歯 can also be used as an adj-na -- 出っ歯な corresponds to "bucktoothed" -- but I'm not sure of the proper way to indicate that in the entry. I looked at the entries for 馬鹿 and 立派, and they handle the combination of n and adj-na differently (立派 has (adj-na,n) as the main part-of-speech designation, but 馬鹿 has only (n) as the main part-of-speech, and (adj-na) as an addendum to one of the meanings.) |
