I have fixed this one "by hand" - I have put a composite 学生 entry into the "specials" file with the がくせい gloss first.
I possibly can do this automatically, but it's not a common problem, and may be best handles on a case-by-case basis.

When using the function "Text Glossing" ("Text/Word Translation"), any occurrence of 学生 in the text under investigation brings up the result shown below, that is, three senses marked "arch" appear before the one marked "P". Is there a way to make the system show "P" before unmarked and both "P" and unmarked before "arch" and "obs"?
