It seems that モンスターペアレント is more common than モンスターペアレンツ, which only makes sense, given that Japanese almost never retains English morphology (like plurals) when accepting loan words. This is true generally as well: foreign-language morphology is rarely preserved in loan words.
Even so, モンスターペアレンツ should remain, but with a note/link to モンスターペアレント as the main entry.
Also, as the Japanese Wikipedia entry makes clear, this word is wasei eigo which was then borrowed into English (the same thing happened with "sarariiman"). The code should be updated to reflect that it is wasei eigo. |
