i didn't see any difference between the definition for this and what i normally consider to be 'manzai'.

"A Cross-cultural Analysis of Humor in Stand-up Comedy in the United States and Japan"  (@ Google Books) confirms that しゃべくり漫才 is generally what is meant when people say 'manzai'.  wikipedia lists コント漫才 as an alternative form
