| Comments: | * Saw at temple as 樗, referring to tree Color scheme is a bit messy to be precise on: * color scheme sense is potentially long; I’ve tried giving equivalent followed by explanation * daijr and 1st website give season as “April and May”; koj and second website gives “summer” (plant blooms in mid-May) – traditionally summer starts in early May, so these seem compatible * note that here 青 means *green*, not blue (see 1st website) – flowers over leaves * note that 棟 (used on website) is unrelated to 楝 – it’s not an acceptable simplification AFAICT |
