Comments: | * Add idiomatic glosses “germ rice”, “half-milled rice” and “semi-polished rice” – these appear to be how people idiomatically translate haigamai/haiga-mai into English; half-milled seems pretty common (from some searching – used on ChowHound and eGullet, major foodie forums, for instance) * OTOH, “whole rice” (as given in 研究社中) is incorrect (or at least abuse of language), as that means “includes the bran”, which is instead brown rice * Add [fld=food] (this is a processed food item, not a plant part etc.) |
