| Comments: | Translating Buddhist stuff is the absolute WORST. I sometimes think that Buddha was just trying to beat Sokal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sokal_affair) to the punch by inventing a religion that was pure mumbo jumbo. |

| Comments: | From my reading of the refs this seems OK, but there could be a lot more. I simply have too much trouble with trying to translate Japanese descriptions of Buddhist terminology to attempt to add any more. |

| Comments: | there's another meaning specified too for "hokkai" which I skipped " 因果の理に支配される万有の総体。全宇宙。" There's a bunch of other meanings for "houkai", but I'm not sure how to deal with that in a single entry |
