Well, what the entry is actually used for is not something we necessarily try and second-guess. Some search systems will canonicalize 半角/全角 when searching anyway. |

Oh, I see. Isn't this a problem though as half-width letters
won't be recognized when you search for them? (or it didn't
seem to when I first looked for ICレコーダー) I mean, considering
they appear in half-width in Japanese more often than not. |

I was wrong in my previous comment, not all hits are direct
translations but it seems most of them are related to Sony or
Panasonic products with "IC recorder" in the name of the
product |
