well, i can guarantee with 100% certainty that she's ~somebody's~ daughter. but yes. probably not the intention of 娘 here.

also, i've never heard "showgirl" used with this meaning. the OED has this, although i think it's sufficiently different from 看板娘 for it not to make the cut:
