Have you never wondered why in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc.,
the man's name has two parts (characters/sounds), while in many languages - for example, in German ("Kon-fu-zius"), in English ("Kung-fu-tse",
colloquially ""Con-fu-cious"), in Arabic "كونفوشيوس" (="Kon'fúshiús" as you can
confirm at http://www.acapela-group.com/text-to-speech-interactive-
demo.html), or in Turkish ("Konfüçyüs") - it has three parts? Well, methinks
this dictionary should have both versions... :-) |
