i'm pretty sure (but not positive) it's an adjective.
daijirin has it as a さま
nikkoku seems to have it directly as an adjective (秋になって涼しさが快い)
涼し is a しく-adjective

I am quite happy with the original 秋涼し/あきすずし entry, and I agree with Scott that there should be a new entry for 秋涼/しゅうりょう. 秋涼し is in both Daijirin and Koujien. Is it really an adjective? The Koj gloss looks like a noun to me (秋になって、風の音、水の流れなどに涼気を感ずることをいう語。) |

So あきすずし gets deleted? It's in kojien. Normally, wouldn't 秋涼 be added as new entry? |
