i think if anything 指貫き is the [io] version, actually. because it's set, and
because 貫き with the okurigana retains too much of its "verbness". e.g., the
government's okurigana guide distinguishes between 光り and 光. both are
correct okurigana, but in different situations. (just as 薩摩焼 would be
appropriate for "Satsuma-ware", whereas 薩摩焼き would be appropriate for
"Satsuma burning") |
