Comments: | I think the 'throwing pebble' meaning is strong (also stones from a sling) but I couldn't actually thing of how to gloss it. I think "throwing stone" and "sling stone" are more common. Incidentally, I think the 'pellet' gloss was aimed in that general direction. |

Comments: | does this actually refer to 'pebbles' or to 'throwing pebbles?', or 'to a group of pebbles that have been thrown'? the references i can find generally seem to be related to a special move in an RPG (in which the character throws stones) http://wiki.livedoor.jp/dqdic/d/ڤĤ֤ơ c.f. 紙つぶて = 'spitball' i vote for two entries. i think this one refers only to stones that have been thrown, whereas 石礫[せきれき] just means 'small stone'/'pebble'. (but yes, いしつぶて can be written as 石礫 also) |

Comments: | Should this really be one entry instead of two? 石つぶて[いしつぶて][1][n]pellet; pebble; small rock 石礫[せきれき][1][n][arch]stone; pebble; gravel |
