<upd_detl>Yep! In the past run I did a while back I used a list that had some common typos. This time I ran `aspell`
entry by entry on the edict file. There are a ton of false positives though and even more species names and
scientific terms so I'm relying on my eyes to further filter the list. There's a shocking amount of obscure
terms in JMdict.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>Since だ is explicitly listed as an equivalence, a reader will likely subconsciously infer that it is a copula regardless of how well they are acquainted with the term, I will agree it is not strictly necessary.
However, I think it should be included for the sake of consistency rather than necessity: なり is ラ変, it is a 助動詞, and it is a copula; to not include all of them is arbitrary and undermines the purpose of the tag: if things will not have a tag when it applies, why have a tag at all?</upd_detl>
