Reasoning: leading with just "thanks" throws away the context. Yes, it's not always in gratitude, but that's 
how set phrases tend to go. gg5 has "that's enough for today", but it doesn't seem like the best fit to me, as 
the second sense is more of a parting phrase said to another person.</upd_detl>
