So for example if there are four players, ABCD, and player A wins the game, players BCD might pay player A a total of 5000 points. If a spectator, E, agreed to place a 外ウマ bet on player A, then BCD would also have to pay him an equivalent 5000 points. If player A lost and had to pay BCD 5000 points, then spectator E would also have to pay BCD 5000 points.

I see we don't have a mahjong sense in our 馬・うま entry. I should try to put something there eventually as well.</upd_refs>
