I wasn't sure what "ガン決まった" meant.

<upd_detl>I think this is one of those cases where an explanation is better than a translation. Wiktionary simply has "used to intensify a verb".
Daijr says "名詞や形容詞の語幹に付いて" but its examples use verb stems. I wonder if "形容詞" is an error. I don't think I've ever seen ガン used with adjectives (unless you include ガングロ).
[sl] might be more appropriate than [col]. The 3rd edition of daijr describes ガン- terms as 若者語. (I don't have the 4th ed.)</upd_detl>
