<upd_detl>jisho has a function to convert japanese era years from/to 西暦
i think having this info in the dictionary would be useful

if this is fine with the editors, someone could write a script to add all the years or i could add them manually</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>I don't think so. A heap of 明治N entries would cause an almighty clutter, and be of very little use. Apps can do that sort of thing without having all the individual entries.
Maybe just one entry like this one.</upd_detl>
