<upd_detl>in some cases i think it's fine to keep them.  i.e., in english, "the apple never falls far from the tree" is a proverb, but you might say "the apple *didn't* fall far from the tree"</upd_detl>

Since this is a relatively rare expression, I think we can hide all but the first kanji form.
