<upd_detl>Since we don't use the music tag for instruments, I think we should either have a separate [music] sense for the musical direction or just drop the [music] tag. I'm not sure there's much value in having a second sense.</upd_detl>

<upd_refs>I don't think it refers specifically to the marking. The kokugos define it as "弱く", "弱音で", "やわらかく", etc., and then mention that it may be represented by the symbol / marking "p".
