<upd_detl>Not happy with the gloss as it is, because it is too specific: the basic meaning of クロカン is still "crosscountry" and as that widely used in connection with skis, for example, and not only in reference to vehicles. See references (a few of many on the web). Suggest including the basic meaning.</upd_detl>
