<upd_detl>did we ever come to a conclusion about whether 音訳 deserve lsrc tags? i'm still firmly of the opinion that they don't because kokugo dictionaries do not treat them as loanwords (i.e., no katakana, lsrc listed differently, etc.)</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>To be frank I don't mind having "lsrc=san:" for such transliterations. We currently have 24 entries with kanji surface forms and "lsrc=san:". I think it's useful information, and I don't really feel bound by what the 国語s do with loanwords.
Perhaps having the Devanagari is a step too far.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>I agree with Jim that [lsrc=san] tags are useful.
I also think that
1. Devanagari should not be included.
2. In lsrc tags we give the exact transliteration with diacritics.
3. When Sanskrit words occur in glosses we transliterate ś and ṣ as sh (not s) and long vowels, such as ā as a (not aa).</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>I'm seeing no evidence for this proposed change; Google images mostly show the Noh mask and many text hits are for the rapper of the same name. Without any actual frequency evidence I'm inclined to reject the amendment. BTW you left the "abbr" on the prajna sense, which is wrong.</upd_detl>
