<upd_detl>I've never seen T (or S or M) used this way in Japanese. If we are going to extend this entry beyond just the alphabateic sense we probably should follow Daijirin as well. Moi, I'd leave it just as sense 1.</upd_detl>
<upd_refs>Dajirin also has ton, tera and temperature (t for Celsius; T for absolute), but doesn't have Taisho.
GG5 and ルミナス only have the alphabetic sense.</upd_refs>

<upd_detl>Plenty of our letter entries have one or two 
extra senses without having every single sense 
that's in daij. I'm not opposed to adding more 
senses but I don't see the point of an "all or 
nothing" approach. 
I can't recall ever seeing T or M used this 
way but I've seen H and S like this plenty of 
times.</upd_detl>
